Tonight I treated myself to a lovely staeak (only 70g come on!!) simply griddled with a really delicious low-fat white bean mash. Great thing about the beans is they're naturally low in fat and fill you up!
Here's the recipe (for 4):
Finely chop 1 medium onion and 1 clove of garlic, gently cook in a little water until soft. Add the contents of an 800g tin of white beans and 250ml of chicken stock and a handful of finely chopped parsley. Cook gently until the liquid has slightly reduced. Mash and add a TBspoon of 0% fromage blanc and season with salt and pepper. This would be nice with lamb, chicken or any white fish! Bon appétit!!

Second Thursday
Feeling much more motivated today. I'm still finding it hard to resist the temptation to eat rubbish when I feel a little light-headed, instead I have a piece of fruit or a low-fat yoghurt and that seems for the moment to be doing the trick. As I am someone who enjoys alot of flavour in my food, spicing up the low-fat dishes seems to be satisfying my stomach more than if they had little flavour!! The weather was lovely here yesterday, so I went out for a walk for an hour or so with my daughter, that felt good!

Slightly better news this morning! 74.3kgs after my shock yesterday! So as I said yesterday from now on my weekly weigh in will be on a Wednesday, but I will continue to write my diary on a daily basis. Don't forget, if you have any tips?

Tuesday
What a shock this morning! Got on the scales and they are saying 74.7kgs! How can that be possible? I feel like I've been starving myself! No snacks in between meals, no alcohol during the week, what's going wrong? From now on I'm going to weigh myself once a week, every Wednesday, at least that way I'll only risk being depressed once a week!!

Yes!! 73.4 kgs!! Should have been more patient! So weight still going in the right direction despite extra calories consumed this weekend in the form of alcohol!! Back on the wagon until next weekend!! Have been feeling strong hunger pangs today and a little light-headed due to feeling hungry! Hopefully my stomach will speed up shrinking so that these go away, or I could be tempted to eat BAD things!!

Well the scales are still stuck at 73.9kgs!! Getting a little depressed now! Had a lovely tea last night, chicken breasts in a lovely spicy tomato sauce with egg noodles! Yummy!
Recipe for 4 people:
Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts seasoned with a little salt and pepper on both sides, then place in a baking dish.
For the sauce, finely chop a chilli, a red pepper, 2 coves of garlic and an onion. Mix a tablespoon of cornflower with 30ml orange juice and add 150ml of tomato passata. Mix in with onions, garlic, peppers and chilli. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the chicken. Cover the baking dish with some foil and bake in oven (180°) for 30-40 minutes. Cook the noodles as per pkt instructions. Serve! Bon appétit!

Saturday
The scales already seem to be stuck at 73.9kgs, how depressing!! And I didn't even have that glass of wine yesterday!! I suppose I should be thankful that there hasn't been any weight gain!! Went to the cinema again today with hubby and daughter this time! Saw "127 hours". I resisted the tempting popcorn and sweets and kept to my bottle of sparkling water that I was carrying around in my bag! God, that scene where he breaks and then cuts off his arm, enough to put anyone off their food! I could barely watch!
Fingers crossed that the scales will be kinder tomorrow!
